ArcheAge Chronicles builds FAQ

How the build ranking works

The build ranking collects the trait setups the community creates with our ArcheAge Chronicles skill tree calculator. Every build someone shares from the calculator appears here with its class, main weapon, points spent per weapon and average rating.

Use the filters to narrow things down by class, weapon, minimum star rating, language or build name, and sort the list by rating, number of votes, newest, total points or name. Open any build to see its full tree, rate it from 1 to 5 stars and leave a comment. You don’t need an account.

Keep in mind that ArcheAge Chronicles isn’t out yet and the trees may still change, so the ranking reflects what the community thinks rather than results tested in the game. Got an idea for your Warrior, Ranger or Mage? Build it in the calculator and share it.

Where do these builds come from?

Players make them with the ArcheAge World skill tree calculator. When someone presses Share, the build is saved with its name, class, language, main weapon and chosen traits, and it joins this ranking, where anyone can open it, rate it and comment on it.

How is the ranking sorted?

By average star rating by default. You can also sort by number of votes, newest, total points or name, and filter by class, weapon, minimum stars, build language and name. That makes it easy to find, say, the highest-rated Greatsword builds.

How do I rate a build?

Open the build and pick from 1 to 5 stars. You don’t need to sign up: the site ties your vote to an anonymous key stored in your browser. The average and the vote count update as soon as you vote.

Are these the best ArcheAge Chronicles builds?

They are the ones the community rates highest. The game isn’t out yet and the trees can change from one version to the next, so treat them as ideas to plan and discuss, not as tested, final builds.

Can I comment on a build?

Yes. Each build page has a comment box that takes up to 500 characters. Use it to suggest changes, ask why a trait was picked, or explain how you would play the build solo or in a group.
