ArcheAge Chronicles Release Date

ArcheAge Chronicles, XLGAMES' new game set in Auroria, does not have an exact release date yet. This page collects only what official sources and the press have confirmed, and we update it whenever there's news. For the latest, see our ArcheAge Chronicles news.

When does ArcheAge Chronicles come out?

The planned launch is PC Early Access on Steam in Q4 2026. Kakao Games' results deck of 5 August 2026 lists the game for "4Q26", on PC and consoles, global. XLGAMES restated the Q4 Early Access plan when announcing the October demo.

The exact date is unconfirmed. The Steam page still shows "To be announced". Producer Yongjin Ham said in September that Early Access will arrive "sooner than players might expect", without naming a day.

Delay history

The window has moved several times: from 2025 to fiscal 2026, then H1 2026, Q3 2026 and finally Q4 2026. We won't treat any date as final until XLGAMES publishes it.

Free demo before launch

Before Early Access there is a free Steam Next Fest demo from October 19, 10:00 AM PDT to October 26, 10:00 AM PDT. It includes a new dungeon and PvP for the first time. Details in our ArcheAge Chronicles demo guide and the Steam Next Fest demo news.

Platforms

• PC (Steam): confirmed for Early Access.
• Consoles (PS5, Xbox Series): Kakao Games says "PC and consoles", but the console date is unconfirmed.

Price and business model

XLGAMES confirms ArcheAge Chronicles is buy-to-play with no in-game store at Early Access launch. The producer says they will never sell pay-to-win items. Later optional purchases may cover content, customization and convenience. The price is unconfirmed.

Publisher: XLGAMES self-publishes

XLGAMES will self-publish ArcheAge Chronicles in the West. The ArcheAge IP and ArcheAge S move to Align Studio on October 27, but Chronicles is excluded from that transfer and stays with XLGAMES (Inven Global).
