Auroria and the Age of Pioneers

Auroria is the majestic continent on which the adventures of ArcheAge Chronicles take place. One post presents it as the setting of a new era of exploration, the Age of Pioneers. The other invites one to enter its setting and leaves a warning: danger may be closer than it seems.

The Age of Pioneers

The account asks one to look out over Auroria and set out on that new era. Whoever does so comes to form a vital part of the Age of Pioneers. The image in the post is a dark silhouette of the continent on gray stone, with the name ArcheAge Chronicles at the center. There are no labeled coasts and no region names.

The text does not fix when the era begins, nor what past it comes from, nor what other labor belongs to whoever joins, aside from exploring and forming part of it.

The setting

The other post asks that one enter Auroria and walk a setting it calls captivating. Three images show it, and none bears a written name. The first is a stone city in the sun: crenellated towers, a bridge, red roofs, and a dome. The second joins wood and ruin, with a covered tower, a broken palisade, and a windmill. The third goes down into a dark gallery, with rails, mine carts, and cold lights in the mist.

That is what the post offers of the place: the atmosphere. It adds no route, no trades, and no faction fixed to each view.

The warning

The same text cuts the walk short. “Danger may be closer than it seems,” according to @ArcheAgeChron. It does not say what the threat is, nor whether it waits in the city, among the wood, or underground.
