Factions of ArcheAge Chronicles
Proper names stay in English: there is no official translation. In this theme, faction is a group named by XLGAMES. A guild (guild) is a group of players and is not a faction; no official post describes how to join these factions, nor reputation, nor a PvP side.
XLGAMES has presented them one by one, above all on @ArcheAgeChron, between October 2024 and July 2025. In September 2026 another appears, the Crossroads Union, in the 10 Years Before AAC series.
How they are grouped
The grouping follows that of the official sources and the order in which they came out.
Those who administer and trade in Auroria
- Settlers' Council — the highest administrative body of the continent.
- Bluesalt Brotherhood — the trade of Auroria; Livek leads it.
Those who explore and study
- Shadowhawk Syndicate — exploration, hunting, and trade; it inherits a name from Delphinad.
- Antiquary Society — scholars and merchants; they want to rebuild the Delphinad Library.
Named threats
- Dark Blades — deserters who unite the underworld of Auroria.
- Cult of Eternity — preaches a world without injustice; plots the return of Akasch.
- Dobavion Dreadbreath Tribe — occupies Serpens' Domain.
- Nakisians — summoned by Queen Akasch; they wake with the Rancor.
Named in a tale, not as an organization of today
- Repentant Shadows — Axas was a soldier of theirs in the 25-Year War.
- Pantheon — inquisitors who used Pantheon's Punishment.
More recent than that list
- Crossroads Union — Lorea is an enforcer; it appears in 10 Years Before AAC (September 2026).
What the posts do not say
No official source explains how a player relates to a faction. There is no joining mechanic, no reputation, no choice of side, and no mutual block.
